Texas Ambulance Association Announces New “Hall of Fame” Award to Honor EMS Excellence

AUSTIN, TX – April 2025 – The Texas Ambulance Association (TAA) announces the establishment of the Texas EMS Hall of Fame, a prestigious new recognition program designed to honor individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to Emergency Medical Services throughout the state of Texas.

The Texas EMS Hall of Fame will recognize pioneers, innovators, and dedicated professionals whose career achievements and service have significantly advanced the field of emergency medical services and their contributions to TAA.

The inaugural class of inductees were honored at a special ceremony during the 2025 TAA’s Annual Conference.  The following are the first recipients:

  • Bob Kellow
  • Faye Raney Thomas
  • Bill Aston
  • Darryl Quigley
  • Ron Haussecker
